Resource and framework development
Documentation and written resources are a critical component of practice for teams, programs and organisations as a whole. However, key information needs to be defined, articulated and made accessible to all. Let's collaborate to get those resources or frameworks finalised.
I look forward to working with you to produce effective, clear and comprehensive documentation to support your work.
What do you need developed?
My extensive experience in senior leadership roles over the past two decades has enhanced my professional writing skills and the capacity to produce a wide range of quality documents to support practice across teams, programs and whole organisations.
These documents have included, but are not limited to:
- Practical resource series for multiple audiences such as practitioners, carers and leaders
- Strategy analysis documents
- Policies and procedures
- Practice tools
- Care planning templates
- Training packages
- Accredited qualifications, incorporating multiple units of competency
I look forward to working with you and your team to bring these documents to life for you. Each developmental process is discussed and mapped as each requires a multi-faceted and collaborative approach. Each process includes consultation and feedback throughout to ensure the final product meets, or exceeds, your expectations.
Practice frameworks
Connolly (2007) defines a practice framework as a 'conceptual map that brings together, in an accessible design, the organisation's approach to practice. It links the foundational philosophical and theoretical underpinnings with the practice interventions used to support desired outcomes.'
This valuable definition underpins the outcome of working with you to develop and implement an organisational or programmatic practice framework. This is an 8 stage process that meets your identified outcomes and articulating the unique way of working you want implemented across your organisation or program. The process includes: planning and commencement; research and background; initial stakeholder consultations; draft framework; feedback and second consultations; draft framework 2; framework presentation and launch and finally, implementation programs.
We will complete a comprehensive planning and consultation process prior to commencing our developmental partnership to ensure transparency, clarity and quality that is specific to your needs.
Training needs analysis and professional learning pathways
Identifying the training needs of a team balanced with an organisation's goals is another core requirement for delivering quality outcomes for children, young people and families.
A well-implemented Training Needs Analysis (TNA) focuses on mapping current capacity, consulting with multiple groups regarding need and then integrating this information within a gap analysis process. The TNA needs to integrate the organisation's values, goals and practice principles to ensure all future training is relevant, comprehensive and effective in enhancing relationships.
Equally, organisations are often looking to identify learning pathways across roles and teams that support initial meaningful and comprehensive orientation and induction programs. These are often accompanied by pathways for role progression within teams and organisations ie: how can we develop our team members into leaders?
I am pleased to be able to offer these processes for your team, program or organisation in a way that, again, is multi-faceted, consultative and clearly mapped.
Each developmental process is unique and confidentiality is assured through a comprehensive service agreement established at the commencement of our work together.
I look forward to connecting with you about how I can meet your needs, ease your workload and enhance the work and practice of your program and team.
