Marina Dickson Practice Connections terms and conditions
Summary
Marina Dickson Practice Connections (MDPC) has a commitment to lifelong learning and supporting the learning and development of professionals and carers. This includes responsibilities of both participants and MDPC. This information outlines the specific terms and conditions of enrolment in training programs offered by MDPC.
Training bookings
- All bookings should be submitted through this booking system prior to the training program or session commencing.
- Payment must be received prior to the session date to enable attendance.
- Waitlisted participants will be advised of places available and given the opportunity to accept or decline the position up to the day before the training program or session.
Rescheduling, cancellation and non-attendance
- Participants who cannot attend have the option of rescheduling to another session, or transferring the registration to someone else in their organisation, at no cost.
- Any cancellations less than 4 days prior to the program or session will NOT be refunded.
- Any travel and accommodation costs incurred by the participant to attend any MDPC program or session remain the full responsibility of the participant.
- Minimum participant numbers need to be met for in-person programs or sessions to go ahead. This decision and confirmation will occur a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the scheduled program or session.
- If a session is cancelled by MDPC - including not meeting in-person minimum participant number requirements - all registration fees will be fully refunded or the option to transfer into another session provided.
Adjustments and support
- Please advise MDPC of any adjustments or support required prior to the training program or session. MDPC will make every attempt to provide these adjustments or supports. Participants can use the 'connect with me' button to commence this conversation.
- For in person programs or sessions, please ensure you complet the 'dietary requirement' section of the booking form. For any additional requests or further discussion regarding dietary requirements, please use the 'connect with me' button to contact MDPC.
Conduct and wellbeing
- There is an expectation that participants will fully and professionally engage with trainers, fellow participants and the content during any program or session. This includes in-person and virtual learning environments and includes expectations such as keeping cameras on for the majority of the session. Specific expectations will be discussed at the commencement of every program or session.
- Any participant who displays inappropriate conduct can be asked to leave the learning environment and will not be entitled to a refund in these circumstances.
- If a participant is unwell they should not attend training - especially in-person training. MDPC will work with the participant to reschedule their attendance.
- If a participant becomes unwell during a program or session - especially in-person training - they should leave the training to ensure the wellbeing of all participants. MDPC will work with the participant to reschedule their attendance.
Customised training
Terms and conditions for customised training are provided in the relevant service agreement for this service provision.
Individual and group supervision
