Group supervision and coaching

Opportunities for clear and defined reflection and skill building are an important component of quality practice and require a clarity of structure and purpose from all involved. I look forward to working with groups or teams in a collaborative reflection and professional learning process grounded in the shared wisdom and skills of each group.

Description

As with all of my work, group supervision is grounded in a relational approach that is collaborative, clear and caring of each group member and their unique perspectives and experience.

We commence our group supervision process with the completion of a collaborative agreement that guides our work together moving forward.

Areas of focus you might consider include, but are not limited to:

  • Team ways of working
  • Current practice challenges
  • Case reviews and discussions
  • Journal article discussions, incorporating practice applications
  • Specific practice skills implementation
  • Exploring the impacts of our work - and ways of addressing those as a team
  • Relational practice in action

Our collaborative agreement will incorporate outcomes and measures of success to ensure the value of our supervisory process.

The price included here is for the session (not a per person cost) and group numbers can range from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 10 people per session.

Please connect with me and we can explore the needs of your group and set up an initial session.

Wenger defines communities of practice as 'sustained learning partnerships among people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.' This relational definition provides a helpful summary of this offering. Group supervision is one thing but sometimes groups across organisations are looking to come together to explore an area of practice passion and intentionally focus on its improvement.
